Tinder video chat is finally available to users around the world. To some, this news may seem old, and that’s understandable. How to use Tinder video chat feature called ” Face to Face ” has been tested since the start of the pandemic. ”Face to Face” is a great feature, especially for those who want to chat with people from other countries.
Simply put, Face to Face is a service in the Tinder app that lets you talk to anyone you match without having to exchange phone numbers.
Unlike other video chat apps, both people must first agree to a video call and the conversation must be polite. The screen is split in half, so the caller can always see themselves as well as the person they are contacting.
How do I use the ”Face to Face” feature?
To select the Face to Face feature, go to the ‘match’ lists and tap the video icon at the top of the screen. To unlock Face to Face, slide the on / off option to the right. When both parties have unlocked this feature, a confirmation message will appear in the app. Once you’ve selected the person you want to meet in a video call, tap the video call icon at the top of the conversation. You’ll see a preview of the video, and when you’re ready, tap ‘Call.’
You can end an ongoing video call by clicking the red ‘End’ button. If you receive a call from someone who has had a ‘match’ but do not want to accept the call, you can reject it or allow it to call. The other will be notified that you are not currently available.
Keep in mind that the Tinder app makes it clear that it’s important to follow certain rules. Minors may not appear in the conversation. Nothing should be said about hate speech, violence or any illegal activity and, above all, no nudity.
The platform will not ‘wake you’ if something is forbidden on the screen, but remember that the other person has the option to select the ‘Report’ option if the other person sees something they did not want to see. This way, you may deservedly lose access to your account.
