What are the disadvantages of the regular missionary sex position? It is a timeless classic. Most couples like the emotional and physical intimacy it provides: you can hug each other, kiss, see your partner’s face. This position is romantic, but it is difficult to experience an orgasm.
According to research, only one in four women experience orgasm when their partner is on top. It is not even affected by the length of the penis and the duration of intercourse: 13 or 23 cm, five minutes or half an hour – mostly he is the only one who feels the pleasure.

What is CAT technique?
The CAT or ‘Coital alignment technique’ was invented in 1988 by the American psychotherapist, sex researcher Edward Eichel. It is an advanced missionary position: by slightly adjusting the man’s position, the clitoris is also stimulated.
The partner should lie down a little higher – so that his chest is near the woman’s shoulders. Rhythmic penetration movements should be replaced by sliding movements, then her clitoris and his pubic bone will come into contact, and both partners will feel the stimulation in the right places.
Why is nobody talking about this?
E. Eichel’s technique once attracted great interest: it was written about in newspapers, articles were devoted to it in magazines, it was mentioned in books about sex.
However, for unknown reasons, this technique was forgotten in the 90s, and only a few sexologists offered their clients to use it.
True, this technique continued to be studied. “The Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy” described a study involving 36 women. These women attended a seminar for eight weeks, where they learned the basics of sex. 17 women were advised not only to have sex, but also to masturbate regularly, 19 other participants were taught the CAT technique.
All women concluded on the 21st day. Those who masturbated reported experiencing 27% more orgasms, and those who practiced CAT experienced up to 56% more orgasms.
