Why don’t men moan during sex?

Moaning with pleasure is natural, sexy, but… you may have noticed that many men do not moan during sex. Why? Sex is one of the forms of communication in which people use all their senses: sight, touch, smell, taste and… hearing. Most women just need a comfortable spot and a skilled partner to start moaning with pleasure. These sounds, as part of a set of sensations, help create an intimate atmosphere and give your partner hints about what you like.

But often moans of pleasure are expressed only in a woman’s voice. Men are silent at such moments…or they are talking…or breathing loudly. Of course, moaning really isn’t such an important part of sex to worry about. However, it is not a secret: women love with their ears, so it would be nice for them to hear the moans of passion of their beloved.

Making sound during sex allows your partner to better understand how you feel, what turns you on, what helps you reach orgasm. So why don’t men moan during sex?

Difficulty concentrating

In order for a man to prolong the moment of ejaculation, he usually must either restrain himself or learn a special technique. Some men find it harder to focus and control orgasm when they are moaning. That’s why most men bite their tongues and focus on how to please their partner.

Confidence

Moaning is not as easy as it might seem. Some men are afraid that moaning will spoil the fragile moment of passion, distract, maybe even disturb their partner. And someone else might think that moaning during sex just isn’t sexy, so if it doesn’t come naturally, there’s no point in trying.

Understanding masculinity

Men have been taught since childhood that crying, whining and moaning are not masculine expressions. Some men grow up believing that any moans, even those made during sex, are only for women. For such men, even passionate moaning is a sign of weakness that they simply cannot afford.

Lack of experience

Men who have never moaned during sex before are shy about doing it. First, second, third time – and silence becomes a habit. And it’s hard to break. Especially if the doubt is reinforced by the question in the mind: “How will I look? I was silent – and suddenly a-a-ah!?”

Fear of the partner’s reaction

For men who are used to always being in control, moaning can become a real challenge. It’s no secret that it’s hard to control the tone of your voice during sex. More precisely, it is possible, but then you would have to take your mind off the love games at least for a few seconds. I agree, it’s stupid. That’s why men, afraid not to utter a funny falsetto, try to express their pleasure in a different way.
