A new hobby protects men from premature ejaculation and even prolongs erection

Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual health complaints. Most men experience it at one point or another in their lives, and not all seek help from qualified professionals. Scientists conducted a study and concluded that a new hobby most likely protects men from premature ejaculation and even extends the duration of an erection.

Premature ejaculation can occur for a variety of reasons – depression, anxiety, guilt, stress, drugs, sexual abuse or lack of body acceptance.

A study was conducted at Anglia Ruskin University, the participants of which were 105 patients diagnosed with premature ejaculation. This experiment investigated how physical exercise might help them.

Volunteers who practiced yoga noticed an average increase in erection time from 26 seconds to a minute and a half.

According to the authors of the study, yoga improves reproductive functions, regulates hormones, stimulates mental activity, helps more effectively control factors that increase the risk of premature ejaculation, and also strengthens the muscles of the pelvic floor.

Another study was conducted in which 38 men practiced yoga. After two months, it was observed that their sexual stamina increased.

The authors of the study concluded that “yoga is safe, well tolerated, and effective for the treatment of premature ejaculation because yoga asanas help reduce stress and anxiety.”

A third study in this area divided participants into three groups. The representatives of the first group used dapoxetine (30 mg), which is intended for premature ejaculation. Participants in the second group ran at least half an hour a day, five days a week, for a month. Participants in the third group had to walk no more than half an hour a day, five days a week.

It was observed that the problem of premature erection was effectively solved in the groups that ran and took the medicine. True, there were no significant differences in the results of the participants of these groups, which allows us to conclude that sports are not less effective than medications.

“These results are based on studies involving a small number of men. More research is needed in this area, although it is clear that physical activity can benefit all men,” said university lecturer Lee Smith.

He emphasized that exercise is not only beneficial for men diagnosed with premature ejaculation: “Many men are not always satisfied with their sexual performance, so lifestyle changes and the use of certain methods could help prolong the duration of an erection.”
